The job involved welding a steel post at the base and at the top onto an RSJ in a London house where nothing is plumb or level. Grant figured out the best way to go about it - it wasn’t ready to weld - and he cut the post at a slight angle and chivvied it in. Top man who just got on with it and wouldn’t accept any more money than he’d quoted for even though the job took quite a long time on a Saturday afternoon.
